About this product
Best for Fixing a recline that won't hold
This is a recliner hydraulic (gas strut) that controls the backrest angle on reclining chairs. The photo marks it at 27 cm long and 3 cm in diameter, with a grey body, a threaded rod at one end and forked clevis ends at both ends for pinning to the chair frame.
When the backrest no longer locks in place, drops on its own or will not come back up, the strut has usually lost pressure. Measure your old strut pin to pin and compare the end fittings before ordering, or send us a photo of your old part on WhatsApp to confirm fit.
